New York governor Kathy Hochul has instituted a mask mandate for all businesses that don’t mandate a vaccine for entry. In a move from Biden’s playbook, Hochul is attempting to segregate and punish those people that are not vaccinated, while hinting that private businesses could forgo the mask mandate if they just implement a vaccine requirement. She is also implying, that the 20% of New Yorkers that choose not to get vaccinated, are the cause in the rise of cases of Covid infections. Hochul is banking on the fact that the 80% of New Yorkers that are vaccinated, will shun and point the finger at those that are against an imposed medical procedure. The real fact, is that Kathy Hochul is spreading misinformation about what is really going on in her state. Hochul gives you her side of the facts without pointing the finger at the real problem, which is the vaccines are waning and are becoming less and less effective. Common sense will tell any rational thinking person, that if 80% of your state is vaccinated, the question then must be asked…why are the infection rates rising? Hochul lamely blames the Omicron variant and the impending colder weather, but the dreaded Omicron variant is a dud compared to its siblings, and the cold weather hasn’t arrived yet. It’s all about control and driving a narrative. Kathy Hochul is Nancy Pelosi’s stepsister, so you tell me where her train of thinking emanates from.
Covid Death Rates are Nowhere Near What They Were at the Beginning of the Pandemic
In her press release, Hochul is slyly trying to get private businesses to mandate a vaccine requirement to enter their establishment. She claims to be worried about New York’s economy and that the 20% that are not vaccinated could be the reason that New York’s economy is failing.
“As Governor, my two top priorities are to protect the health of New Yorkers and to protect the health of our economy. The temporary measures I am taking today will help accomplish this through the holiday season. We shouldn’t have reached the point where we are confronted with a winter surge, especially with the vaccine at our disposal, and I share many New Yorkers’ frustration that we are not past this pandemic yet,” Governor Hochul said.”I want to thank the more than 80 percent of adult New Yorkers who have done the right thing to get fully vaccinated. If others will follow suit, these measures will no longer be necessary.”
That’s pretty heinous, if you ask me. Hochul is conveniently leaving out important facts that might be important to the average New Yorker. Hochul, in her press release, thanked the 80% that were fully vaccinated, when in fact only 68% of New Yorkers are fully vaccinated and 78% of New Yorkers have had one dose. She’s basically making the numbers fit her argument, that in order for New York to get out of the Pandemic, there needs to be more vaccinations and boosters…please. Hochul is also trying to say that infections statewide have increased by 43%, when in fact, it’s New York City that has seen the steepest climb in infection rates. New York City has the most draconian mandates in the country, so why are we seeing such a rise in infection rates if New York City has the strictest mandates? Well, probably because the vaccines are quickly losing their effectiveness and more and more of the vaccinated are spreading Covid. In other words, the rest of the state, which is a majority conservative, is being punished and blamed for refusing a medical procedure. Meanwhile, the rest of the state has far fewer issues with Covid infections than does New York City. To add to the argument that Kathy Hochul is full of crap, is if you look at the average 7 day totals of deaths from Covid in New York State. On April 12th of last year, during the height of the Pandemic, New York State had a high of 946 deaths on a seven day average total. New York hasn’t come close to that number since, with the latest seven day total on December 9th of 44 deaths. And even those numbers are probably false, because you could have been in a car accident and died, be tested for Covid post mortem, and it would count as a Covid death. So why the apocalyptic calls for everyone to mask up again and threaten businesses to mandate vaccines? Control, control, control.
Ron DeSantis is the Example to Follow
Kathy Hochul is Gretchen Whitmer 2.0. I sometimes think she’s in competition with who can be more tyrannical. Kathy Hochul is going to mandate vaccines in New York State as soon as she sees an opening…mark my words. If Hochul really cared about what was going on in the state, and wanted New Yorkers to prosper and have lower infection rates, she might follow the advise of Ron DeSantis in Florida or Greg Abbott in Texas. Ron DeSantis doesn’t have mandates of any kind in his state, and infection rates are in the basement. That’s despite Joe Biden’s attempt to make Florida the poster child for high infection rates when he opened our southern border. That failed miserably. Florida saw an infection rise in August because of all the illegals being dumped into the state, and then after a few weeks, infection rates were once again in the basement. That’s despite all efforts from a main stream media blitz to try and blame Florida for the Pandemic not coming to an end. And why is Florida the example…because of no mandates and a natural herd immunity that works far better than the snake oil we are being sold from the Biden administration.
Kathy Hochul is the Problem, Not the Unvaccinated
Kathy Hochul blames the “Pandemic” for New York’s problems. The bad economy is all due to the unvaccinated not getting the jab. The math just doesn’t add up. If 80% of New Yorkers are vaccinated, how is it possible that the dispersed 20% throughout the rest of the state are responsible for the rise in infection rates? Is she really having us believe that 20% of New Yorkers are responsible for New York’s pathetic economy? No, she just wants you to believe that, and if enough people believe what they are told, because they can’t critically think for themselves, then it must be true. Placing unjust mandates on businesses and threatening them with $1000 fines for each violation, is the reason New York’s economy is bad. Mandating limits on gatherings in private businesses for a year and a half has destroyed many small businesses. New York City is a shell of its former glory, run by a self described socialist despot, who has made it impossible for capitalism to thrive and has choked that city’s economy into submission. So, it’s not the 20% that are unvaccinated, Ms. Hochul…it’s two decades of a bloated government in Albany and bad economic choices that are destroying New York State. Your feigning sympathy for the prolonged Pandemic and praise for the vaccinated, are just a cover for your failed policies that you have been a part of for the last decade.
