Hollywood Goes Into Panic Stricken Overdrive

In a suspicious leaked draft, of a majority opinion obtained by Politico, it appears that the Supreme Court is set to overturn Roe V Wade.  For those of you that have been living in a cave for most of your natural adult life, Roe v Wade was a landmark decision that basically stated a woman had a right to choose whether she had an abortion because it was her right to privacy.  The Supreme Court in 1973 agreed, and basically invented an enumerated right that did not exist in the Constitution.  An enumerated right, that the States and their elected representatives, would traditionally need to amend the Constitution to allow.  If this decision is true, abortion would not be made illegal, as those on the left would have you believe, it just pushes that decision back onto the States.  But those on the left and in Hollywood, like George Takei, Seth McFarlane, Judd Apatow, Rob Reiner, and Mia Farrow, have predictably raised their banners of tantrum, and are crying about fascism, back alley abortions, condemning women to die, and apparently that this decision, is akin to slavery and denying everyone the right to vote.  Is it any surprise that Hollywood goes into panic stricken overdrive and exaggerates this to the nth degree.

Abortion Regulation Should be a State Matter

In the draft majority opinion, written by Samuel Alito, he states that Roe v Wade got it egregiously wrong, and that it granted a right not enumerated by the Constitution, and needed to be returned to the States elected representatives.

“Roe was egregiously wrong from the start. Its reasoning was exceptionally weak, and the decision has had damaging consequences. And far from bringing about a national settlement of the abortion issue, Roe and Casey have enflamed debate and deepened division.”

“We do not pretend to know how our political system or society will respond to today’s decision overruling Roe v and Casey. And even if we could foresee what will happen, we would have no authority to let that knowledge influence our decision. We can only do our job, which is to interpret the law, apply longstanding principles of stare decisis, and decide this case accordingly.”

“We therefore hold that the Constitution does not confer a right to abortion. Roe and Casey must be overruled, and the authority to regulate abortion must be returned to the people and their elected representatives.”

Another “End of Times” Moment for the Hollywood Left

The mainstream media, and the apoplectic nuts in Hollywood, have of course overreacted to the extreme.  If they would actually put their thinking caps on, sit back and analyze the situation, they would realize that one…this is a draft decision, in which any one of the conservative justices could change their minds(Chief Justice John Roberts did it back with the affordable care act), and two…no one is banning abortions.  If…and that’s a big if….the draft is an indication of the outcome of the case, the Supreme Court is just returning that power back to the States as it rightfully should.  But, if you were on the left, or lived inside your Hollywood bubble, you would think it’s the end of times.  The ever needy George Takei told his followers on Twitter to take to the streets and overwhelm Republicans at the ballot box.

“Those motherf*****s really did it. First they came for Black voters, then they targeted LGBTQ+ families. Now, women of America, they’re overruling Roe v. Wade. We have to unite and strike back. Take to the streets. Overwhelm them at the ballot box. They have gone too damn far.”

Isn’t that inciting rhetoric?  Shouldn’t Twitter be banning George right now?  Mia Farrow posted on Twitter that women were going to go back 50 years to back street abortions and coat hangers…really?

“Looks like we are going back 50 years. Here comes the back street abortionists and of course, the coat hangers”

Rob Reiner likened the draft opinion to fascism.  Because I guess giving States and Rob Reiner’s elected representatives more power is a bad thing?

“Two unelected people have decided that millions of American women will no longer have a right to make decisions regarding their reproductive health. As we take another big step towards Fascism, never forget: ELECTIONS MATTER!”

The actress Sophia Bush said that the Supreme Court(presumably)are too ideological and don’t care about Democracy or the will of the people.  Ummm….giving power back to the States and its elected representatives is exactly that…clown.

“How nice that these ideological nuts who don’t care about democracy or the will of the people — who overwhelmingly support a woman’s right to choose — can feel safe inside whilst they eviscerate our rights and condemn women to die. Abortion will never end. Only safe abortions.”

How Come the Left Isn’t Concerned About the Security Breach

Judd Apatow posted that the founders just wanted slavery and to deny most people the right to vote.  Evidence please you Hollywood hack.  The framers instituted an amendment process to counter all those things.  It has worked thus far.  Judd Apatow might think about getting with his elected representative, to call for an amendment process, to see if States would ratify an amendment that would make it a right to kill unborn babies.  The craziness from the left just goes on and an and on , with seemingly no knowledge of how government actually works.  What’s even worse, is that not one of these adult pretenders thought it was more egregious that there was a leak of a Supreme Court document.  Their bubbles are depriving them of the necessary oxygen to their brains.

Hollywood is Ignorant of How Government Works

What’s even crazier, is that those radical leftwing activists who will call for Conservative Justices impeachments, and threaten and cajole the Supreme Court for the next month, obviously don’t understand how our government is supposed to operate.  Abortion is not going to be made illegal by the Supreme Court.  All it’s doing is returning that power back to the States to make laws regarding abortion.  Those that are freaking out like George Takei, Judd Apatow, Seth Mcfarlane, Rob Reiner, and Mia Farrow, are obviously ignorant of how the government process works, nor care about the separation of powers among the three branches of government.  They need to settle down and relax.  Everything will be alright, and women, if they choose, will still be able to get an abortion…it just might mean they have to travel to get it done.

An Opinion Leak From the Supreme Court Should be Cause for Alarm

Let’s put aside for a minute whether you believe in a woman’s fundamental right to abortion.  The fact that this was leaked, which I can never recall happening, is of further concern.  This suspiciously looks like it was leaked on purpose to change an outcome, and to exert outside influence on those on the Supreme Court that support this decision.  That in itself should be cause for alarm.  It’s akin to lobbyists putting pressure on elected representatives to get a desired outcome, and it’s nefarious.  The Roe v Wade decision was a bad decision that had the Supreme Court making law from the bench, when those powers are specifically given to the legislative branch of government.  What Roe V Wade did was cause decades of division in this country, and the killing of 62 million unborn.  If the Supreme Court in 1973 had left well enough alone, and pushed that decision back on to the States, we would not be in the mess we are today, and perhaps abortion wouldn’t be a big business venture like it is for entities like Planned Parenthood.

The States Should Amend the Constitution

This draft of a decision that would over turn Roe v Wade, is extremely suspicious, and should be taken with a grain of salt.  This leak was done purposely, to influence the media and the radical left, into swaying the decision of one of the Conservative Justices.  That might actually might happen, and Roe v Wade will remain an unconstitutional right, that should have been constitutionally amended by the States.  The framers of the Constitution never would have had the forethought to ensure a woman’s fundamental right to end an unborn baby’s life.  That is why they the left that power up to the States.  If it was a fundamental right for a woman to be allowed to end an unborn baby’s life, then why haven’t the States amended the Constitution?  In any case, all of this is suspect, and is actually a neat little distraction for the negativity surrounding the Biden administration and their handling of everything.  The person who leaked this should be fired, disbarred, and sent to jail.  The sanctity of the Supreme Court is a necessary balance to the chaos in Washington DC, and this leak just tainted that trust.
