DC and Warner Media is set to make an Injustice animated movie based on the popular game Injustice: Gods Among Us.  In a sneak press release along side the announcement of The Long Halloween Trailer part 2 dropping, Warner media made it known that a first look would be available in the blu ray special features of ‘The Long Halloween part 2’. This is exciting news for fans of the game, and the story, that was an inspiration for Zac Snyder’s Knightmare dream sequence in ‘Batman v Superman Dawn Of Justice’.  In ‘Injustice: Gods Among Us’, Superman turns evil as a result of Joker tricking Superman into killing Lois Lane and accidentally destroying Metropolis with a nuclear bomb.  As a

result, Batman becomes the leader of a resistance to try and take down Superman’s regime.

Hopefully this will be based on solely on the game which was fantastic and then followed up with an even better sequel game in ‘Injustice 2’.  Even though we have seen darker versions of Superman in animated versions before(Justice League animated series ‘A Better World, and

‘Brave New Metropolis’ from Superman: The Animated Series)fans will finally be able to see what an evil Superman can bring to the table in a feature length animated movie.  Being a fan of both the Injustice: Gods Among Us and Injustice part 2 video games, I am looking forward to what Warner Animation will bring to the table as I wait anxiously for the release of ‘The Long Halloween part 1 and part 2’.  ‘The Long Halloween part 1 and part 2 drop on June 22nd and July 27th, respectively and will also be available as a 4k/blu ray combo deal.
