Bob Chapek is making his job harder and harder by the second it seems. He has capitulated, bent the knee, and appeased the radicals on the left, time after time, and has made no progress except to move backwards. He cancelled a management retreat in light of the controversy surrounding Florida’s Parental Rights in Education bill, to hold a town hall meeting, and re-commit to the LGBTQ community. Yet, Chapek has said nothing of the Disney employees who were fired for human trafficking, prostitution, and being child predators. Disney also came out and apologized for a Texas high school that performed an alleged controversial Native American dance, that they have performed at Disney before, subsequently forcing that school into the spotlight, resulting in unwarranted backlash and condemnation. It is also rumored that the demands ‘DisneyWalkout’ are making, are to thwart the relocation of professionals from Disney’s California offices to new Florida offices. Bob Chapek is losing his grip on whatever control he had at changing the narrative, that unfortunately wasn’t even his fault to begin with.
Bowing to Demands of Leftist Radicals Will Only Make Things Worse
Bob Chapek doubled down on his efforts to soothe the feelings of those offended by Florida’s Parental Rights in Education bill when he held a town hall meeting for all employees Monday. The meeting was held in attempts to reign in an impending walkout of employees, who are protesting against Florida’s Parental Rights in Education Bill, and are demanding change at Disney. The @DisneyWalkout sent a letter of demands to Disney that included such things as donations to The Trevor Project, a website dedicated to transgender and non-binary youth, stopping all construction and investments in Florida, ending donations to political parties that supported bill 1557, investments into the sole creation of LGBTQ projects, and to stop the relocation of 2,000 Disney Imagineers from California to Florida. Chapek has already sent money to The Trevor Project, and is already committing to not donating to those political parties involved in legislation like Florida’s and those around the country. The 2,000 Disney Imagineers having to relocate to Florida, however, has been in the works for a long time, and seems a bit suspicious as a demand. Disney can’t operate as a company, if they are consistently trying to appease everyone and their demands for diversity and inclusion. It’s a distraction, and will only cause Disney’s investors to lose faith….oh wait, they already are. Disney’s stock has been dropping precipitously over the last year. The only group that’s not protesting against Disney, are the families that want to just enjoy themselves and have some fun and escape into a Disney creation. That group is the majority of Disney’s customer base.
Whose Side Are Disney and Bob Chapek On?
What’s ironic about all of this fake and dishonest outrage, is that Chapek and Disney are ignoring the families and kids, that Florida’s Parental Rights in Education bill are meant to protect. It would seem, that by Disney opposing this bill, they support the actual instruction to 5 year olds, about gender identities and sexual orientation. With Disney not saying boo about the arrests of its own employees over prostitution and child predation, it makes one wonder whose side Disney and Bob Chapek are actually on. If Disney can’t come down on the side of parents and their children, then parents need to keep their young children away from anything Disney, because Disney has apparently lost its way. The Walt Disney Company would be smart to look back at why Disney was founded in the first place, and realign their commitment to the family, and not some politically charged fringe groups.

Disney is Risking Their Reputation on 4.5% of the Population
Disney and Bob Chapek aren’t the only companies who support the teaching of gender identities and sexual orientations to 5 year olds. Apparently Marvel, Hulu, LucasFilm, and ESPN, approve of teaching those adult topics to kids as well. They have all come out on Twitter or Instagram showing their full support for Disney employees walking out in protest of Florida’s Parental Rights in Education bill. What’s even sadder, is that Disney is risking their reputation on 4.5 percent of the national population, and forsaking the other 95.5 percent of the population. That’s right, only 4.5 percent of America’s population is actually LGBTQ. That’s 11,343,000 individuals in the United States as a whole that represent the LGBTQ community. Of that 11,343,000, there are 1,994,000 kids aged 13-17 that are LGBTQ. Of that 1,994,000 kids aged 13-17 that are LGBTQ, only 114,000 live in Florida. The point, is that Disney and Bob Chapek are getting in to bed with a radical left ideology, to appease a minuscule portion of the population, while denigrating the majority of the population that could care less.
Disney Talks Out of Both Sides of Their Mouth
When you are supposedly running a family friendly operation, you have to be politically ambiguous and stay out of the politics. You will never make everyone happy, and always disappoint someone, which is what’s happening to Disney right now. Bob Chapek, unfortunately, walked into this political nightmare as a result of Bob Iger’s ambitions. Iger had dreams of running for President, and decided to play politics. What happened as a result, was Disney taking sides with a radical left, that has become more and more unhinged as the days go by. Bob Chapek in some ways, inherited this mess, and is now paying the price, though he’s not making it any better. Disney is making themselves the poster child of hypocrisy, as they tout support for LGBTQ idealogues, while ignoring human rights abuses, such as China’s abuses and ethnic cleansing of the Uyghurs. Disney thanked China’s Xinjiang province, that has concentration camps holding Uyghurs, for their help during the making of ‘Mulan’. Disney claims to be all for diversity and inclusion, yet will edit their marketing for movies like ‘Black Panther’, that are released in China, to remove the face of a black man. Disney does not mean what they say and say what they mean. They talk out of both sides of their mouth, trying to appease everyone, while they have appeased no one.
Disney Just Might End Up Crashing and Burning
Bob Chapek is treating the outrage over Florida’s bill, like it’s a microcosm of the real world, which it is not. He’s taking the stance that he needs to fight for the LGBTQ community outside of Florida as well. It’s patently ridiculous. Chapek needs to grow a set, and just say no to all the fake outrage. Chapek is biting the hand that feeds him, and is being wholly ungrateful for Florida’s business friendly environment, that has allowed Disney to thrive in otherwise harsh, financially obtrusive environments. What Bob Chapek is doing instead, is rewarding bad behavior and punishing the majority of families who could care less about this crap, and just want to be entertained. Disney would rather support radicals who are actively lying about Florida’s Parental Rights in Education bill, than defend families who just want to actively partake in their child’s education. Disney is going to suffer in the long run financially, if they don’t end their obsession with leftist ideologies. Families will walk away from Disney World, they will end their Disney Plus subscriptions, and they will stop buying their products, because Disney has become less about family, and more about hate of those family ideals. Disney can’t and won’t end their obsession with appeasing the lunatics on the left. Disney is too entrenched, and too committed, and as a result they might just crash and burn.
