Chris Evans, who is voicing Buzz Lightyear in the upcoming ‘Lightyear’ movie, has said that fans who disagree with the same sex couple kissing scene are idiots, and that those people who feel that way will “die off like dinosaurs”. Calling people who disagree or have an opinion on something, idiots or dinosaurs that will die off, seems a bit narrow minded, but are we surprised? Not in the slightest. I mean this is the way Hollywood looks down on those that don’t agree with identity politics. Chris Evans is no stranger to expressing his political views when it comes to leftist ideologies. He believes in global warming, big government, and gun control. What Chris apparently doesn’t understand, is that ‘Lightyear’ is marketed towards parents and their kids. That’s where the pushback comes from, not because there are actually gay couples in the world…who cares? Parents shouldn’t be forced to bring their children to a movie geared towards their kids, and then have to explain a very adult topic like two women kissing each other in that movie. Chris Evans needs to really think before he speaks, and consider the broader picture before espousing his personal politics.
Why do We Need a Same Sex Couple Kiss in Lightyear?
‘Lightyear’, which tells the fictional story of the much beloved Buzz Lightyear from the Toy Story movies, gives a backstory to Buzz’s history which includes Space Command and his arch nemesis Zurg. For some reason though, Disney thought it would benefit a kids movie to have a same sex couple kissing. A kiss that if it were removed, would have no bearing on the outcome of the movie whatsoever. So why put it in there unless you had an agenda. Well, we know there’s an agenda. Latoya Raveneau, who is an executive producer for Disney came right out on video, and exclaimed to that very fact.
“Our leadership over there has been so welcoming to like, my like, not-at-all secret gay agenda. I felt like..maybe it was that way in the past, but I guess, like, something must have happened. They’re turning it around, and then all that momentum that I felt, that sense of ‘I don’t have to be afraid, let’s have these two characters kiss in the background…wherever I could, I was basically adding queerness to the show, if you see anything queer in the show, ‘The Proud Family,’ nobody would stop me and nobody was trying to stop me.”
“The Real Truth is Those People Are Idiots”
You can also see the evidence in children’s programming Disney has put out over the last few years. ‘Diary of a Future President’, ‘Better Nate Than Never’, ‘The Owl House’, ‘Amphibia’, ‘Ducktales’, and ‘Cruella’, are just some of the kids content that have LGBTQ themes. In an interview with Reuters, Chris Evans applauded movies that reflect all types of people, and said that people who react negatively should be disregarded.
“The real truth is those people are idiots. Every time there’s been social advancement as we wake up, the American story, the human story is one of constant social awakening and growth and that’s what makes us good.”
That’s great Chris, but can we let parents talk to their kids about those topics, instead of having them forced through a kids movie? Is it possible to make a movie geared towards kids without the identity politics?

Disney is Demanding Americans Like Their “Not So Secret Gay Agenda”
Some in the mainstream media and Hollyweird, will say that this is the world outside your window, and it should be shown. But that’s not true and it’s patently dishonest. The world outside the majority of Americans’ windows is not the 1% of the population that Disney is ramming down our throats. Disney was founded on bringing fictional characters to life for little kids. Disney used to be a place you for everyone. But now, Disney has all but jumped off the cliff with their obsession with appeasing 1% of the population, and has disregarded the rest by calling them racists, bigots, and homophobes. They have demanded that fans of Disney who don’t agree with that particular lifestyle, choice, or whatever you want to call it, comply or be called out.
Keep the Identity Politics Out of Kids Content
Chris Evans is a good actor, and probably the best version of Captain America we will ever see. I have personally liked every movie I’ve ever seen Chris Evans in, and love his support of the troops and his charitable contributions. Evans is probably one of the few in Hollywood who actually walk the walk and talk the talk, and that’s refreshingly honest. But when it comes to the content kids are subjected to, I think Evans should really take a step back. Take a look at how the other half of the country feels about having to explain to their kids what they are watching, and what it actually means. Parents shouldn’t be forced to do that, and should be able to take their kids to a movie and just be entertained, with no political subversion. I wonder how Chris would react if the roles were reversed, and let’s say a popular kids movie was coming out, that was based around a very religious family that didn’t believe in homosexuality, and people were review bombing it because they didn’t agree with what it was depicting. Would he call those reviewers idiots as well? Me thinks not.
