Drum Roll Please…

Drum Roll Please...

DC Comics is running out of characters to make gay or bisexual.  Robin is bisexual, Batwoman is a lesbian, Poison Ivy is bisexual, Harley Quinn is bisexual, Superman is bisexual, Wonder Woman is bisexual, Alan Scott Green Lantern is gay, and now…drum roll please…Batman has been hinted at being bisexual.  In ‘Batman: The Knight’ #5, a young Bruce Wayne shares a tender moment with fellow trainee Anton, that clearly insinuates there might have been a kiss between the two before they are interrupted.  It seems like every month, DC Comics has this addiction to changing the sexual identity of one of the characters in their roster.  Although DC hasn’t confirmed that Bruce Wayne is actually bisexual, the inference is undeniable.  At this point, however, is anyone surprised at DC’s outright demoralization of any of their characters?  Of course not.  It’s an absolute ploy, to get sales in a miserable market that DC Comics has helped create.

Just Another Marketing Ploy by DC to Gain Attention

‘Batman: The Knight’, is a comic book series written by Chip Zdarsky, with art by Carmine Di Giandomenico, and tells the story of a young Bruce Wayne, and his climb to becoming the great dark knight detective.  The comic book series, aims to define Bruce Wayne’s journey before the cowl, as he travels around the world in search of new challenges and training.  Telling a side of the Batman’s history that we don’t know, sounds interesting, but telling a history of a Bruce Wayne/Batman that involves him being bi-sexual, is irresponsible, and an insult to the well established lore of the Batman character.  Even if DC comes out and says its not true, they have knowingly stoked the fire of an already pissed off fanbase with a hint that Bruce Wayne might be bisexual, and that’s just disingenuous.  All of the characters that DC Comics has made gay, have all been well established as not gay or bi-sexual, and up until recently, have been in very heterosexual relationships…including Batman/Bruce Wayne.  Insinuating Batman might be bi-sexual, because of his past, is just another lame attempt from DC Comics to get attention for their failing business.  Are we surprised at this move from DC…not in the slightest.  Maybe DC is trying to cash in on the upcoming pride month?  Just saying.  Whoever is allowing this refuse, are pathetic and weak shills for the crazy left lunatics that have run rough shod, over a once glorious company.

How About DC Comics gets Back to Telling a Good Story

Batman is the only character DC Comics has, that is consistently in the top 50 comic books month after month.  So the decision to write a story that hints that Bruce Wayne might have been bisexual, is ridiculous at best.  Batman is the only thing DC has going for it right now, so why piss off the fans and destroy that as well?  It’s anybody’s guess…but who cares right?  If DC Comics wants to destroy itself, have at it.  It’s not like anyone’s reading their comic books anyway.  The only good sign, is that the new head of the newly minted Warner/Discovery, David Zaslav, appears not to be putting up with the B.S.  He has been cutting DC shows and properties left and right that aren’t profitable.  So maybe he can get rid of all the extra layers of woke fat at DC Comics as well, and clear that house of all the nutbags running the joint.  Maybe, replace all the editors and creative talent, with people who actually want to tell a good story and make some money.
