Terry Silver is back and I couldn’t be more excited as a ‘Cobra Kai’ and ‘Karate Kid’ fan. In a teaser post, from the official Twitter feed of ‘Cobra Kai’, Terry Silver has his back to the camera as a voice over of his quicksilver method, from ‘Karate Kid III’, plays in the background.
Terry Silver is a Worthy Villain for ‘Cobra Kai’
Terry Silver, played by Thomas Ian Griffith, was the main antagonist to Daniel LaRusso and arguably the most evil of all villains he has faced if not the most over the top ridiculous. That’s not meant as a dig, but rather, a bow to those over the top action movies and stories that made absolutely no sense but were fun to watch anyway because it allowed you to escape the real world for a little while. In ‘Karate Kid III’ Terry Silver was a cold, calculating, and manipulative villain that joined forces with the down and out John Kreese in an unbelievable plot to destroy Daniel LaRusso. ‘Karate Kid III’ is probably the worst of the trio of Karate Kid movies starring Ralph Macchio, but has some really great moments that deem ‘Cobra Kai’ worthy of a villain like Terry Silver.
The Cobra Kai Series is Without a Doubt a Breath of Fresh Air
‘Cobra Kai’ has delivered the goods to a loyal fan base who are thirsty for more with every season. Writers and executive producers
Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg have been dedicated and faithful to the original Karate Kid movies that has seen both loyal and new fans alike converge with excitement. ‘Cobra Kai’ is without a doubt a breath of fresh air in an entertainment industry that has been lacking in any kind of watchable content. In a statement from the executive producers they said they couldn’t wait to bring Terry Silver back into the Karate Kid universe.

“Since the beginning of the series, we’ve been carefully orchestrating the right moment to unleash Cobra Kai dojo co-founder Terry Silver back into the universe. That moment is now. We can’t wait for the whole world to experience Thomas Ian Griffith’s majestic return to the franchise”
With the unification of Miyagi-do and Eagle Fang karate, both dojos are going to need all the strength they can muster against the likes of the Cobra Kai dojo co-founder Terry Silver and the schemes he will likely conspire with John Kreese. Netflix has yet to announce a season 4 release date but for now: “A man can’t stand, he can’t fight…a man can’t breathe, he can’t fight…a man can’t see, he can’t fight…extreme situations require extreme measures.”
