The woke agenda, perpetrated through all various forms of media and government entities, seems to be on the right side of a decline. But it isn’t without a fight from a rabid fan base of diehards who believe in its nonsense and cling to it like a slow cancerous evil. An evil that came to the forefront as a result of a methodical and patient left, along with a democrat party hell bent on transforming the United States into their own personal vision of a utopia. A utopia where conformity is king and individuality is shunned. Companies like Disney, under Bob Iger, have helped fast track this commitment to this ideology by wrapping it in LGBTQ and CRT themes, and indoctrinating kids with diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout their content. On the other side of the spectrum, democrats and the Biden administration have seized opportunity after opportunity to ram diversity, equity, and inclusion down Americans throats for the past two and a half years, infecting every agency with things like pronoun training in our military, and hiring a plethora of diversity hires that check a box rather than hire based on experience. The woke infestation is everywhere you turn. Even the NFL, led by the milk toast Roger Goodell, has been infected with an identity politics agenda, that requires all teams to hire based on race and gender rather than on experience. The NFL has become an emasculated shell of its former self, where fans are subjected to political propaganda wherever they look. The good thing, however, is that there has been significant pushback at a very grassroots level from local and state governments to independent voices on YouTube, Rumble, and others that are shedding light on the identity politics permeating every facet of our culture. Even some in Hollywood, like Warner Bros. CEO David Zaslav, and celebrities like Chris Rock, Ricky Gervais, Tim Allen, J.K. Rowling, Gina Carano, Joe Rogan, and even Bill Maher, have said enough is enough. The tide is shifting for the radical left and they know it. When you have a giant conglomerate like Disney shedding over 5 billion dollars in operating costs due to failing content across all your platforms, you know something is amiss. We’re not there yet, but the pendulum is definitely swinging the fans’ way.
Disney’s Content can no Longer be Trusted as Safe for Children
Disney has been injecting their DEI narrative very purposefully into all of their content for the last decade. It was a slow build, but was sped up the last few years with radical LGBTQ activist hires spurned on by Bob Iger himself. What’s more insidious, is that Disney did this under the guise of one of the most trusted brands on the planet. Disney used to be the absentee babysitter that parents could trust with wholesome and innocent content. Parents would plop their kids in front of the TV to watch cartoons or family friendly programs that were meant to be safe. Now kids are subjected to an onslaught of very adult LGBTQ and CRT themed content like ‘The Proud Family‘ that preaches to kids how bad white people are, or a Baymax cartoon that discusses a transgender man buying period pads. These topics should only be discussed between parents and their kids. What Disney did in injecting these very adult topics into kids programming, is “adulterize” their content and sell it to families under the guise of their trusted brand name. Not only did Disney saturate their children’s programming with these adult topics, they also saturated it with their box office releases such as ‘Lightyear’, ‘Strange World’, and ‘Turning Red’. But fortunately for fans and parents, Disney took their woke agenda too far when they decided to get into the political boxing ring with Ron DeSantis and the Florida government. Disney’s beef with Florida, was a bill that would protect young children from being exposed to LGBTQ themed topics in the classroom. Disney decided, for some unfathomable reason, to side with the woke minuscule minority in their company. This minority only had their interests at heart, and not that of the majority of fans and families who agreed with Florida’s new bill protecting young children. That was Disney’s misstep, and they have paid the price ever since with an accelerated loss in revenue across a lot of their platforms. Not focusing on their bread and butter…families…has cost them dearly. The content and movies listed above are just proof at how miserably Disney has failed financially, as very one of those programs have been summarily dismissed by parents and fans, or utterly and completely failed at the box office. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg for Disney’s failures. Their once reliable juggernaut at the box office…the once coveted MCU, has taken a cataclysmic nose dive at the box office, with not one notable success since ‘Endgame’. This along with a Star Wars franchise that has, for all intent and purposes, become extinct in the fans’ eyes, and failures like ‘Jungle Cruise’, ‘Cruella’, the live action ‘Pinocchio’ and ‘Lady and the Tramp’, makes one wonder if Disney is viable on the entertainment front. When you race and gender swap all of your beloved animated movies to try and check the diversity box and make a buck at the same time, you are going to lose the fans. Is it any wonder why Bob Iger might be sweating a little, and going forward with billions in cuts across all platforms? Bob Chapek was on to something.

The Left has Spurned Hatred and Division
Disney isn’t the only culprit however. They are just one of the biggest examples. The Biden administration has placed diversity, equity, and inclusion on steroids, making it their number one priority to check every box they can, parading Joe Biden around as their poster child for the cause. All one has to do is look at all the checked boxes in Joe’s cabinet, and you’ll see a very diverse and extremely inexperienced cabinet. But hey, at least we got transgenders, lesbians, homosexuals, and a whole splattering of race, colors and creeds, right? Experience be damned. The problem is, all this mandatory hiring of diverse groups of people based on what they bring to the diversity table, is having a detrimental effect on our country as a functioning society. It has purposely elevated a cultural and race division that was virtually non existent 20 years ago. People could joke with one another without having to recoil to safe spaces, or be placed in Twitter or YouTube jail because what you say now is deemed harmful and therefore you must be censored. Remember the days of George Carlin and Eddie Murphy who made fun of everything and everyone? Now it’s all about “movements” and safe spaces for millennials and gen z’ers who get offended by everything and everyone.
The Legacy Media and Hollywood Elites are Anti-America
Our “free press”, the legacy media and the once reliable homes of unbiased news like The New York Times and The Washington Post have become the voice puppets of the democrat party, with no unbiased opinions of their own. For instance, legacy media outlets like CNN and MSNBC, were once so anti-war, they had an ongoing daily body count of soldiers lost during the Iraq war to try and demonize the republicans. These media outlets are now war hawks of the highest order. Ukraine, Afghanistan, proxy war with Russia anyone? The same could be said of Hollywood, who were once anti-war and the bastions of free speech, now advocate for the silencing of those that have an opinion(MAGA, anti-vaxxers), are pro criminal, and are sickeningly devoted to the war in Ukraine. Celebrities like Sean Penn for example, check all of those boxes. He is so mind numbingly ignorant about what is really going on in Ukraine…the second most corrupt country in Europe…it’s pathetic. Does he even no the extent to which Zelensky has been a sock puppet paraded around like some magnanimous leader? He’s far from it. He’s a has been actor who was chosen, not “elected”. But Sean Penn considers Zelensky a brother in arms. What a maroon. Sean Penn also asked fans who were not vaccinated to not see his movies, and insinuated that they put in jail if they weren’t vaxxed. Sean Penn is just one example among many of how Hollywood elites feel about Americans who actually think for themselves. Celebrities are followers of the highest order who pretend to be leaders, and as a result, through their influence, have a cult of followers who will do their bidding. It’s sad. Long lost are the days when Hollywood was a safe place to escape from the days doldrums. Now we are preached and lectured to about how it’s all the white males’ fault, there’s not enough representation, that trans women are biological women, or Donald Trump is to blame for everything. The legacy media and Hollywood have done a complete 180, and have come a long diseased way from the days where Hollywood and our news sources were America first.
The Woke Agenda is Affecting Every Facet of our Culture
The woke agenda is everywhere, and you could list off example after example of where this fixation on 4% of the population or mandatory diversity hires are affecting the quality and culture of everything around us. The NFL for example, makes it mandatory to hire a certain percentage of all races and backgrounds for each team, whether or not there might be a more qualified candidate best suited for the job. I would argue it’s affecting the game. The bad referee calls this past season caused quite the controversies this past season. Is it because of all the mandatory diversity hires instead of hiring based on experience? Those kind of questions need to be and should be asked. Early last year, in response to a discrimination lawsuit filed by former Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores, Roger Goodell announced almost instantaneously, that it would be mandatory for all 32 teams to hire a minority or female coach on the offensive staff. In addition to that, he formed a diversity, equity, and inclusion advisory committee for the NFL. Isn’t the NFL almost 60% black and only 25% white? Where’s the discrimination? Is this Donald Trump’s fault as well? This is a male dominated sport…right? Making the NFL a politically driven entity has seen its share of ups and downs under Goodell, and I would argue that Roger Goodell is the worst NFL commissioner the NFL has ever had. But one things for sure, the allowing of politics in the game of football has put a sour taste in fans’ mouths. I mean, it’s so bad, that fans were subjected to a black national anthem before this years Super Bowl. Why? Aren’t we all Americans? And why when I watch any of my favorite teams must I be subjected to political slogans on the back of everyone’s helmets? All these pandering acts of politics do is encourage a state of division where one shouldn’t exist. Yet again, another pure form of escapist entertainment that has been routed from the fans because a few fee fees were hurt.

There is a Shift Towards Sanity Happening in Politics and Entertainment
The good news however, is that over the last year and half or so, there’s been a shift to some sanity in our entertainment and politics. Local governments, thanks in large part to concerned parents about what’s being taught in our schools, damaging mandates, and smothering crime rates, have started to take a walk on the side of common sense, and have been electing no nonsense America first candidates that are turning states more and more red. All you have to do is look at the once reliably purple Florida or blue Virginia, and the in roads made in blue states like New York, to see that Americans are sick and tired of the nonsense. So there is reason for some hope and a return to sanity in our government. The same could be said for Hollywood, where we are seeing a revival back to the 1980’s style of pure entertainment. Movies like ‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’, ‘Top Gun: Maverick’, ‘Cocaine bear’, and ‘Avatar 2’, are proving to studios that movies made sans the politics, can make you boatloads of money without preaching politics to your audience. Studios need to learn very quickly, just as Disney is learning very much the hard way right now, that forcing fans to ingest your personal politics will fail every time.
