Russian President Vladimir Putin gave a speech this past Thursday, in which he basically slammed the west for erasing its history and called transgenderism a “crime against humanity”. In an article at Townhall by Landon Mion, Putin added that citizens of those western nations have a right to think or believe these things but asked them to steer clear of Russia. Could Vladimir Putin actually be on the right side of history? I don’t know but I couldn’t agree more with what he said. Putin also added that Russia adopting the same type of sociocultural changes in Russia would be detrimental to the country.
“Western nations in Europe and the United States, have allowed “the aggressive deletion of whole pages of their own history, reverse discrimination against the majority in the interests of minorities … constitute movement toward public renewal. It’s their right, but we are asking them to steer clear of our home, we have a different viewpoint.”
The Erasure of Biological Gender Norms Erases Traditional Values
Putin’s speech, which he gave at the Valdai Discussion Club in Sochi, also came down succinctly on gender identity. He stated that the West is basically erasing traditional values associated with gender terms such as mother, father, brother, and sister just to appease a minority who are unhappy.
“The proponents of new approaches go so far as they want to eliminate the whole notions of men and women, and those who dare say that men and women exist and this is a biological fact, they are all but banished. Parent number one, parent number two, or the parent that has given birth, or instead of breast milk, you say human milk. And you say all of that, so the people who are not sure of their sexual agenda are not unhappy.”
Putin also added that transgenderism in youth is a crime against humanity which takes control away from the parent and into the hands of the child.
“There are some monstrous things when from a very young age, you teach to children that the boy can easily become a girl and you impose on them this selection, this choice. You push the parents aside and make the child take these decisions that can destroy their lives.”
How Does an Ex-KGB Agent Make Sense?
All this coming from an ex-KGB agent from the Soviet Union. He makes more sense than some of our leaders here in the United States. I wish we had someone this hardlined that would put their feet down and tell these radicals on the left, to quit with the takeover of our culture. I mean, if they hate it so bad here in America, they could move to Russia and try that…just a thought.
