If anyone doubted that Hillary Clinton was interested in running for president for a third time, just check out an interview she had with MSNBC’s Willie Geist. It was a one hour campaign stop that told Democrats that sanity is here to save the day. Vote for Hillary Clinton…she’ll bring the Democrat party back to its glorious former self…boring! Clinton called out the White House for not being able to get anything done, and Democrats for the potential losses they’ll face in November. Clinton is not wrong, but is only saying these things to garner attention and support from the Democratic base. The interview was a campaign commercial for what’s wrong with the country, while blaming all its ills on the right and Fox News. For example, Clinton at one point during the interview, talked about how Americans in states like Virginia, couldn’t comprehend what CRT was, and used it as a catalyst for their Covid anxiety, which then resulted in a loss for Terry Mcauliffe. Just like Hillary to call Americans stupid. It was a typical doom and gloom interview, in which Hillary painted herself as the focus of reason, blamed the right for misinformation, and the Democrats for being unfocused. Hillary Clinton is self serving, and only cares about one thing…Hillary Clinton. Hillary isn’t over the fact that she lost to Trump in 2016 and is still whining about it five years later.
Hillary is the Solution to the Democrats Problems?
In the interview, which took place earlier in December, but was aired in part this past Thursday, Clinton said that Democrats need to stop focusing on blue states to win elections, and focus on staying competitive to hold the House and Senate.
“I think it is a time for some, you know, careful thinking about what wins elections, and not just in deep blue districts where a Democrat and a liberal Democrat or so-called Progressive Democrat is going to win. First of all, we don’t know what the state of the map is going to be after all of the redistricting. It appears as though the Republicans, in a number of States, are doing their best to eliminate as many seats that Democrats can be competitive in. And so, we’ve got to be very clear-eyed about what it’s going to take to hold the House and the Senate in 2022. And, to win the Electoral College, because also, Republicans are doing everything they can to create an environment in which winning the Electoral College, even narrowly, the way Joe Biden did, will be out of reach for a Democrat.”
The party in power always redistricts…it’s not one sided. Further on in the interview, Clinton went on to subtly call out Democrats and the White House for not being able to get things accomplished.
“Look, I’m all about having vigorous debate. I think it’s good, and it gives people a chance to be part of the process. But, at the end of the day it means nothing if we don’t have a Congress that will get things done, and we don’t have a White House that we can count on to be sane and sober and stable and productive.”
Hillary Clinton is Just More of the Same
Make no mistake, Hillary Clinton wants to be President. She wants to be the first female President and she wants the White House as payment for everything she’s sacrificed for Bill Clinton. Hillary knows how to say the right things, knows how to draw a crowd, and is a master manipulator of the facts. But, will it be enough to defeat whoever is running on the Republican side? I don’t think so. The country is exhausted from Joe Biden’s incompetence and failures, on every issue from the pandemic to foreign affairs. And it’s only been 11 months. Biden has managed to destroy and bungle everything he touches to the detriment of America. America wants change, and they want it now. Hillary might be able to string two sentences together coherently, but I don’t think the country is going to buy it. She’s a failure in her own right, with not one significant accomplishment to her name. However, she did manage to get four Americans killed while she was Secretary of State. With approval ratings for Joe Biden and the Democrats at historic lows, the Bat-Signal is bright as ever for a country that wants change…and Hillary Clinton is just more of the same.
