Joe Biden must really think the American people are that stupid. He calls high gas prices a sacrifice for the great transition to a fossil fuel free society. He blames high gas prices and inflation on Putin and his invasion of Ukraine, telling Americans they will have to suffer for “as long as it takes”, when in fact they started climbing on day one of his administration. He blames the oil companies for not producing more and utilizing the 9000 leases that Biden has stopped authorizing permits for. He also blames the oil companies for reaping huge profits and price gauging. And if that’s not bad enough, Biden is now demanding gas companies that own gas stations to drop their prices. But just when Americans thought it couldn’t get any worse, Biden is threatening to shut down America’s largest oil field in Texas for alleged EPA ozone violations. This move would cripple America, and have gasoline prices skyrocket.
The Permian Basin Accounts For 40% of the Nations Produced Oil
The Environmental Protection Agency is looking to shut down the United States’ largest oil field for ellegedly violating ozone pollution standards. The EPA regulations would effectively end the production of oil and gas in the area known as the Permian Basin. The Permian Basin accounts for 95,000,000 gallons of gasoline, or 40% of America’s produced oil. Texas governor Greg Abbott, has pledged to take action to protect the Permian Basin if he didn’t hear from the EPA or the Biden administration. Governor Abbott has heard nothing but crickets. The EPA should be abolished.

Biden Did Promise to End Fossil Fuel
Biden is prematurely forcing America into a transition to green energies that just don’t exist to supply this country with the energy it needs. There are many things Biden could do to alleviate the pain at the pump, which by the way is also fueling the cost of goods and an unprecedented inflation rate. Biden could enact The National Defense Act to to push more oil and gas permits, that would fast track more oil production. Biden is telling big oil to produce more, but the fact is they are already at 94-98% capacity. Pushing refineries further would risk damaging them and halting production. What America needs are more refineries, not bullying from the Biden administration. Biden could also make trade agreements with our allies to supply them with the oil and gas they need. That would boost production here, and lessen foreign countries dependence on places like Russia, OPEC, or Venezuela. That one move alone, would cause inflation and the price at the pump to fall through the basement. But Biden won’t, because he’s not beholden to the average American who’s suffering…he’s beholden to his radical green new deal left. We shouldn’t be surprised. After all, Biden promised to end fossil fuels and refuse to work with the oil companies on the campaign trail. That’s one promise Biden has fulfilled.
Biden and the Left are Not Hiding Anymore
The writing is on the wall from everyone in Biden’s evil and incompetent administration. They claim that we need to transition to greener fuel sources, to help save the planet from the never ending doom they have been lecturing us on for the past 30 years. then, as if they think we don’t see what they are doing, and how hypocritical it looks, they say they are going to buy oil from places like Venezuela and Saudi Arabia, who manufacture some of the dirtiest polluting oil on the planet. If Biden cared so much about saving the planet, why is he enabling its global warming demise by buying product that is antithetical to what he’s trying to achieve? Because Biden and the Democrats time is winding down, and they are scrambling to fundamentally change this country into a “liberal world order” as Biden’s economic adviser Brian Deese said a few days ago. The agenda is clear, and Biden and the left are not hiding anymore.

The Agenda is the Only Thing That Matters
U.S. gas emissions dropped 22% between 2005 and 2020. That’s more than any other country. But the push forward to kill off fossil fuel, and decimate this country is on full display. On May 12th, Biden’s Interior Department blocked proposals to open more than 1 million acres in Alaska for oil and gas drilling. 2 days after that, Biden’s EPA blocked plans for expanding an oil refinery in the US Virgin Islands. Our technology and capacity to produce more clean energy from fossil fuels, is by and far the best in the world. No one can touch us, and Biden knows that, but he refuses to capitulate. Biden’s approval ratings are the lowest of any president in history at the same point in their presidency. But Biden doesn’t care, and that’s the difference. Biden and his handlers have an agenda, and they are going to try and get that agenda done by hook or by crook.
If the Permian Basin is Closed, We Could See a Deep Recession
Biden has turned his back on Americans, and not just the right, but the left, and everyone in between, and the polls prove it. Supposedly the cavalry is coming, as some in right wing media would say, but we haven’t heard anything about solutions or what the plan is to stop the bleeding. All we have heard from Republicans is what’s wrong. If Republicans want to win big in November, they need to face the American people, and look them straight in the eye, and tell them what they are going to do to fix this mess Biden has put us in. Platitudes aren’t enough anymore, Americans want tangible action. The closing of the Permian Basin in Texas would be catastrophic to what Americans pay at the pump and would effectively shut down our economy, dare I say place us in a deep recession or maybe even worse…a depression.
