“Semper Fidelis” or always faithful. This has been the motto of the Marine Corps since 1883. The Marine Corps purpose is our Nation and the defense of our Nation, and to “demand victory or accept defeat, to pull together or fall apart, and to give in or cave in. It is a decision each marine conveys to our Nation with each battle won.” The Marines represent the very strength and resolve of our country. Instead, there are those at the Department of Defense and in the top tier leadership of each branch of the military, that are trying to weaken our great military through left radical political ideologies. The greatest and strongest military on the planet is being taken over and weakened by participating in political propaganda such as promoting pride month. In a marketing poster that resembles a movie poster from Stanley Kubrick’s ‘Full Metal Jacket’, The Marine Corps placed rainbow colored bullets on the back of a soldiers helmet, with the line “proud to serve” adorned along the side. This is an absolute insult to the brave soldiers that serve in the Marine Corps, and an unnecessary politicization of a branch of our armed forces.
Our Armed Forces Need to be Apolitical
Our leaders in the military have gone AWOL. The various branches of the military have been treading in woke diversity, inclusion, and CRT waters for some time now, when they all should be steadfastly apolitical. This latest stunt from the Marine Corps, is perhaps the biggest slight against a military that is looking increasingly laughable on the world stage. While Russia and China’s military were producing recruiting ads that showed virile manly super soldiers, the army was making an animated marketing ad about a soldier and her two moms protesting for equal rights. Last year, the Navy announced that it would foster diversity, equity, and inclusion education requirements among its leadership and soldiers. Military leadership has Ibram X Kendi’s book ‘How to be an Ant-racist’ as recommended reading for our soldiers. Kendi believes that half of this country, republicans, are white supremacists. General Mark Milley believes there is such a thing as white rage and wants to understand it as a white male, so why not teach that to our military. Admiral Michael Gilday thinks there is racism in the Navy and personally recommended and read Ibram Kendi’s book.

The American Military is About Teamwork and Unity Not Discrimination
Why is our military supporting political ideologies such as critical race theory, and diversity, equity, and inclusion? The American military of all places should be solely based on the best talent and not the color of ones skin or gender. The military is the very definition of team work and unity, and is blind to colors and genders naturally. Forcing the military to look at each other based on physical characteristics, through the discriminatory teaching of critical race theory, or diversity, equity, and inclusion, destroys all that, and breaks up the unit. The men and women of the armed forces are there for one reason and one reason only…to defend the Constitution of the United States of America…period. Teaching our military that your value is only based on the color of your skin or what gender you are creates and harbors animosity. The same with critical race theory. If you are teaching our military that your country is inherently racist, then that creates doubt and indecisiveness about the the mission. Promoting pride month by appropriating a poster from a genius classic like ‘Full Metal Jacket’, is dishonest and subversive. The military should and needs to stay out of politics and focus on their sole mission of defending the Constitution of the United States of America. Semper Fi!
