New Yorkers are in for a rude awakening if they elect Kathy Hochul as Governor in November. She is just as power hungry and controlling as her predecessor Andrew Cuomo, and this latest push to keep our kids masked in school is the latest evidence. On Monday, State Supreme Court judge, Thomas Rademaker, declared Hochul’s mask mandate null and void due to its unlawful execution. Hochul vowed to fight, and the very next day a higher appellate court judge, overruled Rademaker’s decision, with a stay of the order until Hochul’s appeal had a decision. The indoor mask mandate is just one piece of a Hochul administration bent on pushing New York State citizens into compliance. The very left leaning New York Sate legislature, also has many bills in committee, that will put a leash on New Yorker’s freedom of choice and parents’ rights to control medical decisions for their kids. Kathy Hochul has also amassed a considerable election campaign war chest, to help ensure her victory in November. Most of her donors are from New York City, and are also among the richest…but Hochul swears that won’t influence her decision making. Ok.
Kids Will Have Long Lasting Developmental, Emotional, and Social Effects From Wearing a Mask For Two Years and Counting
Hochul vowed to fight Rademaker’s decision to put a halt to the mask mandate, and she did just that, getting a stay from an Appellate judge, while the mandate is battled in court. Rademaker had concluded that Hochul and the health commissioner didn’t have New York State constitutional authority, to arbitrarily enforce a mask mandate, and that they needed legislature approval to do so. A mandate that is supposed to end February 1st. Why would Hochul care about keeping an indoor mask mandate in place that is supposed to expire in five days? Cases of Covid-19 have dropped dramatically in the last couple of weeks as much as 46%. Hochul is forcing kids to wear masks that don’t need to… kids who are almost impervious to this virus, all in the name of public safety. This virus has a 99% survivability rate, yet we are forcing kids to wear masks for the last two years. A whole generation that has been affected, and will be affected, emotionally, developmentally, and socially, for years to come. Even the CDC updated what their definition of appropriate masks were to defend against Covid-19. They stated that an N95 mask or respirator were the best defenses against the virus. Cloth masks provide absolutely no protection against the virus, and only promote infection by breeding mold, bacteria, and fungi. The mask mandate is foolish and doesn’t follow any kind of science that the Hochul administration claims to be beholden to. If they actually followed the science, they would either require all New Yorkers to where N95 masks, or get rid of the mask mandate altogether. It’s all a political game to them. It doesn’t matter, because Hochul extended the state of emergency related to the pandemic to February 15th. This probably means Hochul will extend the mask mandate until February 15th as well. Drip, drip, drip. Hochul will extend these mandates as long as she can, because it benefits her electorally. Remember, she’s also getting universal mail in balloting, and same day voter registration signed into law, despite what the voters said this past November.
Freedom of Choice is Being Taken Away
This past week, Governor Hochul signed into law, the extension of universal mail in balloting through 2022, citing the pandemic and health and safety concerns for the public, as the reason for the extension. And New Yorkers thought the emergency orders related to the pandemic were going to end on February 15th. Not likely, if Hochul is still going to utilize the pandemic to pass legislation that New York voters voted against in November, what’s to stop her from grinding out as much tyrannical rule as possible, and claim it’s for our own good. That’s not the only thing Hochul’s radical left government is looking to seal the deal with. The New York State legislature, is also passing bills that would allow kids 14 and up to get a Covid vaccine without their parents permission, make it mandatory to have a Covid vaccine for entering private, public, and parochial schools, make it mandatory for kids entering college to have a Covid vaccine, and religious exemptions for the Covid vaccine for work and college would no longer be allowed. That sounds like a lot of freedom of choice being taken away to me.
Kathy Hochul is a Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing
New Yorkers need to remember that Kathy Hochul served right along side Andrew Cuomo during his reign as Governor. She is not this fresh faced beacon of transparency and honesty, because if she was, then why did she not do anything about Cuomo’s indiscretions and power grabs during her tenure as Lt. Governor, why is she pushing for universal mail in ballots and same day voter registration, and why is she taking her time on releasing what happened to senior citizens in nursing homes during the pandemic? She pledged in October, to do right by them, and now they are getting completely ignored. This is something the Republicans campaigning against Hochul need to reverberate constantly with New York voters. All you need do is look at where Kathy Hochul’s donations are coming from to see which side she routes for. Over a third of her 22 million dollar war chest has come from New York City real estate moguls or actors. Jerry Seinfeld, former Disney CEO Michael Eisner, and producer Jeffrey katzenburg, all donated $50,000, $20,000, and $10,000 respectively. If that’s not influence, I don’t know what is. If Republicans can’t win over voters in New York City, New York will end up electing a governor, that is fueled by a radical state legislature, with no one in their way to stop the destruction of New York State. New York City needs to stop being the population that controls a majority right leaning New York State, and vote their conscience, instead of their pockets. Kathy Hochul could inevitably win this November, thinking she has a mandate with her voters, when in reality she won’t. Her only mandate will be to those high paying influencers in New York City who only care about their interests and not those of the entire State. Kathy Hochul is a wolf in sheep’s clothing, that will be just as bad, if not worse than Andrew Cuomo. She might seem common sense, but the voters need to do their homework, because Hochul is moving at lightning speed to take more and more of your choice away.
