Is it surprising in the slightest that our government has rushed through another multi thousand page bill in the dead of night, not allowing time for anyone on either side of the aisle to dissect how they are spending Americans’ tax dollars? Not in the slightest. But they keep doing it over and over again, with the insane assumption that Americans care whether or not our corrupt self serving government is funded. The only ones that care are the Federal employees themselves and the thieves that run it. I’m sure most Americans would love it if the Federal government would shut down for a little while…it might actually save us some money and aggravation. The reality is that the Federal government isn’t held to account, because it’s not their money they are playing with, while every United States citizen in the mean time, is forced to balance their own budgets. The disconnect between our government and average Americans who fund the government is so vast, one wonders whether or not it will ever be fixed. The Federal government is so drunk with power and control, it doesn’t care or hide anymore the fact that your hard earned money means nothing to them, and the latest omnibus spending bill is just another slap in the face to those that are living without.
The Omnibus Bill Does Nothing to Help the Middle Class
We would always blame the democrats for spending tax dollars like drunken sailors, and then when election season came around, we would vote in republicans to reign in that out of control spending. Not anymore. Republicans who were once thought of as the fiscally responsible party, have joined the spending spree with a blank check signed by the middle class taxpayer. Republicans and democrats are a uni-party that’s spending money like it’s 2015 with no consequences. Consequences that were had during the Trump administration, which saw historic lows in inflation, a growth in the economy and job creation, and were energy independent. We weren’t embroiled in foreign wars and America was feared. Republicans apparently hate all that, and have gone all in with democrats in not addressing or taking a stand on any of those issues. Instead, republicans have signed off on a 1.7 trillion omnibus spending bill that will only add to the inflation that’s killing the middle class.
Republicans and Democrats are One and the Same and Out of Touch
The latest omnibus bill, spearheaded by Chuck Schumer and traitor Mitch McConnell, have effectively flipped the bird at the American people, and condescendingly asked “what are you gonna do about it?”. It does nothing to address actual emergencies like our southern border, crime, or the economy. Instead it focuses on things like the war in Ukraine, which Mitch McConnell thinks is the number one issue on Americans’ minds. This is how out of touch our government is. The war in Ukraine is at the bottom of the list of things Americans care about, yet we are giving them an additional 45 billion dollars to help fund their corrupt government and protect their borders. Americans are worried about whether we have enough money to pay the heat bill and put food on the table at the same time. But instead, our government thought it was prudent that we spend millions on a hiking trail named after Michelle Obama, millions on an LGBTQ museum in New York State, millions for the study of the affects of bridges on the salmon population, over a half a billion dollars on family planning in areas where population growth threatens biodiversity and endangered species, billions spent to protect the borders of foreign nations while ours collapses, designates a federal building in San Francisco after Nancy Pelosi, designates parts of Washington DC as Ukrainian Independence park to show solidarity, and republican Richard Selby of Alabama(co-author of the bill along with Senator Patrick Leahy), will have an FBI building named after him.

Mitch McConnell and the 18 Rino republicans that signed onto this 1.7 trillion dollar, inflation raising monstrosity, have gleefully made their bed with the democrats and are lying happily with them as the American people suffer under a stifling Bidenomics policy. This omnibus bill, like everyone before it for the last decade, is always an emergency, is pushed through in the dead of night, is always thousands of pages, and only allows for 48 hours of research before it goes for a mandatory vote. Because God forbid the Federal government is not funded. Of course republicans and the democrats think Americans are dumb and don’t realize what’s going on. They couldn’t be more wrong. I think they know we know but don’t care, and saw another self manufactured government shutdown crisis as an opportunity to scam the taxpayer one more time. As usual with our bloated government they care more about their survival and not the taxpayers that are funding their selfishness. The middle class is being squeezed out of existence with bills like this, and our government is becoming less and less a representative republic, and more and more a socialist regime bent on crushing the populace to their whims.

Mitch McConnell Needs to Go
Mitch McConnell has been doing everything he can to ensure the defeat any republican that even hints at smelling like a MAGA republican…at the expense of his own leadership and a majority in the Senate. He spent millions on RINO republican candidates in the midterms just to make sure it looked like it was a defeat for Donald Trump. Mitch McConnell is a self serving autocrat who would be best served to switch parties and show his true colors. While Americans are living paycheck to paycheck and having to choose between heat and food, republicans, led by Mitch McConnell, rushed through an unnecessary bloated 1.7 trillion dollar pet project, that helped everyone outside of America’s borders and named buildings after themselves. But perhaps the most devious thing Mitch McConnell and those 18 RINOs did, was effectively neuter the incoming republican house majority that could have reigned in spending on the frivolous things, and tightened it to a small continuing resolution to keep the government running with what it actually needed and not what it wanted. This omnibus bill keeps the government running through fiscal 2023, what is the new republican house majority going to do about spending? Nothing…because they can’t thanks to Mitch McConnell.
