“Screw your freedom!” So says the almighty Arnold Schwarzenegger. In a video posted on his YouTube channel, Arnold was discussing the seriousness of the Corona virus along with the Delta variant with Alex Vindman, of the “Trump-Ukraine scandal” and Bianna Golodryga who works at CNN as a global affairs analyst. In the video he talks about how we should trust the science, Fauci, and the CDC because of all the experience they have. He then proceeded to compare that to all of the experience he has with biceps. Granted, Arnold has a lot of experience with that winning the Mr. Universe title at age twenty and The Mr. Olympia title seven times, but I’m not sure we can equate the two or even use that as a reason for why the state governments or the Federal government has any say so on whether I plunge a vaccine into my body whether it’s been FDA approved or not. That’s a personal choice between me and my doctor and ultimately my final say so. At about the 2:30 mark in the video is where Arnold told us that we should screw our freedoms because we should be thinking of those around us.
“There is a virus here — it kills people, and the only way we prevent it is get vaccinated, get masks, do social distancing, washing your hands all the time, and not just to think about ‘Well, my freedom is being kind of disturbed here.’ No, screw your freedom.”
98.3% of Americans Will Survive Getting This Virus
Schwarzenegger then went on to compare the detriment of not getting the vaccine or wearing a mask to running a red light and killing someone. Not exactly the same thing Arnold, but way to get dramatic about it. But statistics have proven that this virus can be deadly for those in a certain age group or are immune compromised. If you look at the stats here, you will see that 98.3% of Americans will survive this and 1.7% will die. I’m not saying that that is a good thing, I’m just saying that we should be looking at the broader picture and the long term affects of trying to force American citizens to wear masks or take a vaccine. There are hints all over of state governments looking for another lockdown. For a virus that most Americans will recover from? This virus is very contagious and is nothing to laugh at…but is it Ebola, the Swine flu, or the Sars outbreak of 2003? Is it worth destroying this country’s economy even further or causing serious harm to our kids because we are forcing them to social distance and wear a mask? Look at what’s happening in Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. If we don’t stand up to this now, we are going to end up like them where you can’t do anything…and I mean anything. If you don’t believe me read this article from the Daily Mail on what’s happening in Australia as of Friday August 20th.
Schwarzenegger then preached some more about how we should protect our fellow citizens by wearing a mask by calling those people who don’t want to wear a mask schmucks
“Yeah, you have the freedom to wear no mask — but you know something?” Schwarzenegger continued. “You’re a schmuck for not wearing a mask. You are supposed to protect your fellow Americans around you.”
What happened to Arnold? This is a guy that starred in some of the most macho movies of the eighties like ‘Commando’, ‘Terminator’, and ‘Conan the Barbarian’. Now he’s telling us that we need to mask up, take a vaccine, and cower to the governments that are mandating these ridiculous measures? I think Arnold just needs some attention, in my opinion.
Sean Penn:”Unvaccinated people should not go to the movies and watch his film.”
It’s amazing how these celebrities can stand on their high horses and preach to us about relinquishing our freedoms when the very freedoms they want
us to relinquish are the very freedoms that made them multi millionaires. It’s laughable and hypocritical. Just last week, Sean Penn, while at the premiere for his new movie ‘Flag day’, told the Hollywood Reporter that unvaccinated people should not go to the movies and watch his film.
“Here I am promoting a movie that’s going to be, thanks to MGM, showing for an exclusive period of time in cinemas. But I have to say that I do request people who are not vaccinated, don’t go to the cinemas. Stay home until you are convinced of these very clearly safe vaccines. We’ve normalized this notion of radical libertarianism and it really is a violation of the idea of interconnectedness. Independence cannot live without interdependence, and that’s what vaccines are. Vaccines are a great movement of interdependence.”
We Need to be Interdependent in Order to be Independent?
What in the hell is he talking about? He obviously has no idea what he’s talking about. The founding fathers would be rolling in their graves right now over his complete lack of knowledge for the founding principles of this country. So, we should be dependent on the government in order to have independence? Really Sean? Interdependence and independence are polar opposites Mr. Penn…we can’t have freedom and independence if we are dependent on something else to give us that freedom and independence. He then went on to say something even more ridiculous but what else do you expect from these Hollywood elites that look down on us from on high.
“I hope that audiences are drawn to it. Specifically, I hope that vaccinated audiences are drawn to it. Of course we all want people to come see our movies, but we are in a time and place today where I hope people will take caution and do that.”
Sean Penn obviously doesn’t care about box office receipts nor half the audience he’s going to alienate with those remarks. And what happened to Arnold? This coming fromSean Penn and Arnold Schwarzenegger should stay away from talking about things they are not professionals in and leave the very personal choice of getting a vaccine to the citizens of the United States of America.
