Sacrificing the Majority for the Minority

The controversy over Florida’s Parental Rights in Education Bill, is evidence that the mainstream media, TV, movies, and social media, are purposely spinning a false narrative, to try and sway the perception of the LGBTQ community as some victim of a hate fueled right wing ideology.  By portraying the LGBTQ community as victims, the mainstream media has also portrayed the supporters of the bill, as bigots and hate mongers who will criminalize people who are LGBTQ, and take their kids away.  That was actually said by a Disney activism partner.   What happens as a result, is a fake outrage that forces companies like Disney, to unnecessarily bend the knee.  All this to support 1% of the population, while alienating the other 99% of families that don’t want their kids exposed to this crap.  Sacrificing the majority for the minority.  In a new yougov.com poll, people across the country, were surveyed on what they thought the percentages were of different segments of the population.  Foe example, those surveyed thought 21% of the population were transgender, when in fact, it’s less than 1%.  The results were astonishing, yet unsurprising, given the hold the left has on social and news media outlets.  But because the false media narrative has swayed people into believing there’s a significant population of LGBTQ in the United States, Disney has succumbed to that narrative and alienated 99 percent of its customer base.

The Left is Good at projecting a False Narrative

If there’s one thing the left is good at, it’s projecting their narrative, in unison, to the rest of the country.  Media outlets like Twitter, CNN, MSNBC, ABC, Variety, and The Hollywood Reporter, would all have you believing that Florida’s Parental Rights in Education Bill, was a ban on saying the word gay, and would outright physically harm those in the LGBTQ community.  It would appear that most of the mouth breathers that oppose this bill, haven’t read the bill, because nowhere in that bill does it say you can’t say the word gay.  But like a well orchestrated chorus, celebrities, and social media dubbed it the “Don’t Say Gay Bill”.  The Oscars had a cringeworthy moment, when 3 has been female comedians, went into a song chanting gay, gay, gay.  It’s dishonest, devious, and in the left’s own words…disinformation.   The fake outrage over this bill has been thrown into a frenzy, with Disney committing millions to the Human Rights Campaign, more representation in their content, and changing rides and programs in their parks to appease this minority of the population.

Disney is Ignoring 99% of its Customer Base

Yougov’s poll had some extremely enlightening and disturbing results on the actual percentages of these various groups in our society.  For example, those polled thought 27% of the population was Muslim, when in fact, it’s actually 1%.  In that same poll, 30% thought the country was gay or lesbian and 29% thought the country was bi-sexual, when in fact only 3%/4% of the population are actually gay or lesbian or bi-sexual, respectively.  And, as stated above, those surveyed also thought 21% of the population was transgender, when it’s less than 1%.  Why would those polled, think that those groups would be that percentage of the population?  Pick your choice of any social media, entertainment, or news media outlet, and the answer is clear.  The narrative they are pushing is making you believe that that is the case, when in fact it’s a lie.  This same poll also showed that those polled thought 30% of the population were vegans, when it’s actually 5%, and that 26% of the population made a half million dollars in income, when it’s actually only 1%.  The reason people think those are actual percentages of the population, is because of the content they are fed 24/7.  If you look at any TV show, movie, commercial, Twitter post, or mainstream news cast, all you get is a program full of checked boxes.  If Twitter says it, it must be true, and then it becomes a trending hashtag.  As a result of this manipulation, you have a company like Disney, focused on alienating 99% of its customer base in favor of less than 1% of the population.  Less than 1% of the population, that now has control of what appears in the content parents and kids will be watching.  Fascism anyone?

Princes and Princesses be Damned

Disney is just one example of a once family friendly, politically neutral company, that has capitulated to a diversion tactic, perpetrated by social media giants, such as Twitter and Facebook.  News and media outlets like Variety, CNN, Deadline, and The Hollywood Reporter, are just willing participants to help spread the false narrative.  When a company that based its foundation on entertaining boys and girls of all ages, decides to eliminate those “hateful” gender identities, because someone in the transgender 1% finds it offensive, we see a company who has lost its way.  If Walt were alive today, he would be ignoring the fake outrage mobs and social media twits, and be on the side of the 99% of the families that wants to have fun and be entertained.  Princes and Princesses would be front and center and not a gender neutral minority.
