Aaron Rogers, quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, came out against the woke cancel culture mob and vaccine mandates this past week in response to the backlash he has received from not being vaccinated. This also included an ignorant rebuke from Terry Bradshaw, Shannon Sharpe, and others in the sports main stream media establishment. The social media mob, has accused Rogers of lying during an interview this past August, in which he stated he was immunized when asked if he had been vaccinated. The revelation that Rogers was not vaccinated came out when Rogers got Covid and had to miss this past Sundays game against the Kansas City Chiefs, which didn’t end well for the Green Bay Packers. Aaron Rogers did not buckle under the main stream media pressure however, and backed up his unvaccinated status with facts during an interview on the Pat McAfee show. Rogers has become persona non grata, in the eyes of the sports main stream media, for having a personal belief in what he decides to do with his body. Aaron Rogers is a rare open minded critical thinker in the celebrity world, and the main stream media should pay attention because Aaron Rogers gets it right.
"I'm not an anti-vaxx, flat-earther.. I have an allergy to an ingredient that's in the mRNA vaccines. I found a long term immunization protocol to protect myself & I'm very proud of the research that went into that" ~@AaronRodgers12#PatMcAfeeShowLIVE pic.twitter.com/FDMmI5rZmO

Aaron Rogers Believes in Body Autonomy
Rogers responded to his detractors with very cogent arguments as to why he didn’t get the vaccine. Rogers initially stated that, while investigating the Moderna, Pfizer, and Johnson and Johnson vaccines, he found that he was allergic to ingredients in the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. That left him with the Johnson and Johnson vaccine, which he was going to take, until it was pulled from the market last spring, due to possible blood clotting issues. As a result, Rogers began investigating other ways he could immunize himself against Covid, and protect those around him. Some of the treatments that Rogers utilized were monoclonal antibody treatment, Ivermectin, and a variety of supplements. During the interview, Rogers also stated, that the further he looked into the vaccines, the more he questioned their effectiveness, citing various sources or the lack thereof. Rogers did his homework when it comes to the vaccines and stated that he was a critical thinker and believed in body autonomy and the ability to make choices for your body. He is not wrong, but some in the media are quick to jump to conclusions and admonish Rogers for making a personal choice around getting the vaccine.
The Sports Media are a Hive Mind of Ignorance
It is no secret that Terry Bradshaw doesn’t like Aaron Rogers. Bradshaw called Rogers out, this past spring, when there were rumors that Rogers wanted out of Green Bay because of contract concerns. This latest insult to Rogers, is no different. The difference does lie, however, in the fact that Bradshaw and his ilk have no problem calling out an MVP future Hall of Fame quarterback for having a mind of his own, who is hard working, and doesn’t take anything for granted, but doesn’t have a problem praising an ex-NFL quarterback like Colin Kaepernick who abused NFL rules, was a record losing quarterback with no Pro Bowl Appearances, and no actual desire to play football. If anyone is about media theater and attention, it’s Colin Kaepernick. He’s been whining for the past five years that he’s a wronged black man and that the NFL is racist. And what does the NFL do, give him millions to go away and set up a personal tryout for Kaepernick, in which he never showed up. Those are the kind of NFL players that Terry Bradshaw supports…not quarterbacks that actually put up numbers and can talk the talk and walk the walk. Instead, Terry Bradshaw and his cohorts over at NFL Fox decided that Aaron Rogers should be universally hated for making a personal choice about his body.
Free Thinkers Need Not Apply
Terry Bradshaw had no problem calling Aaron Rogers out for duping the media about his personal beliefs, but what about calling out Colin Kaepernick for lying about police officers randomly killing large numbers of black men during routine traffic stops. Kaepernick systematically incited a false narrative about police officers in our country and nurtured a racial political divide in the country. How is that not worse than Rogers keeping his medical information private. It’s not. But Terry Bradshaw has said that what Kaepernick is doing is ok and fully supports it. Colin Kaepernick is stunning and brave for taking a knee during our national anthem, creating divisive racial tensions in the country and his own profession and getting paid to publicly show his disdain for police officers. But, Aaron Rogers should be hung out to dry for having the audacity to be a free thinker. In one year, we have been duped into thinking that Covid is going to kill us all and that the vaccine is the only savior. Really? Covid has a 99% survivability rate. What happened to the Flu the past year and a half? It has all but disappeared for some reason but we’re supposed to believe that 750,000 people have died from Covid alone? We need to ask the questions. Remember, the government is run by and for the people, not the reverse. I think a lot of us have been too afraid to stand up and acknowledge that. It is astonishing that we live in a world where we are being trained and programmed to never challenge government authority. You would think we were living in communist China…oh wait…we’re almost there.
