Loki is gender fluid…apparently and we should not be surprised given Kevin Feige’s recent obsession for political correctness and wokeness right before Captain Marvel debuted in theaters in 2019. I think it might have always been there, simmering beneath the surface, but he had to wait until the MCU was fully cemented into the ground to really sink his woke hands into it. Or, I could be wrong and he’s just found an opportunity in the current climate of “white man bad” and wants to make sure that he’s seen as someone who is one with the cause. In a new ‘Loki’ promo, that came out just before Wednesday’s debut, it shows TVA documents that state that Loki’s sex as gender fluid. Really?
Loki has Always Been Male and Never Gender Fluid
Loki was created by Stan Lee, his brother Larry Lieber, and the great Jack Kirby. Loki first debuted in 1962 in issue #85 of ‘Journey into Mystery’ and was male. Loki has always male, was born male and, other than the times he has shape
shifted into a woman as a disguise to thwart his enemies, has always been betrayed as a male and was never gender fluid. Marvel and Kevin Feige are going full bore in laying down a foundation, through their shows, and using them as a platform for their woke propaganda. And at what cost? At the cost of devoted fans who have loved these characters for generations.
The Fans are Speaking Out
Well, the fans are starting to speak out, through other franchises that are promoting this cancel culture agenda, by not watching those shows. Look at the CW. ‘The ‘Flash’, a once, number one, popular show for the CW, has absolutely tanked in the ratings and is getting scarily close to ‘Supergirl’ viewership in its weekly numbers. ‘The Flash has been steadily declining in viewers, in the all important 18-49 demo week after week since the beginning of the season ending its week 5/25 episode with a .641 rating. It had a bump in last weeks episode but I think that’s because it was on a two week hiatus. We shall see how it fares for the rest of the season. ‘Legends of Tomorrow’, ‘Batwoman’, ‘Supergirl’, and ‘Black lightning’ are just laughable in their ratings. I’m not sure how the CW is surviving but the money
has to run out at some point because no one is watching these terribly preachy and woke shows. ‘The Flash’ used to be one of my favorite shows to watch including ‘Arrow’ and even ‘Legends of Tomorrow’. It looked like things were coming together for fans of comic books as we saw some of our favorite characters come to life week after week, through good storytelling and anticipated crossover events. Those crossover events, at the beginning, heightened our interest in these shows and forced us to tune in to the other shows so we didn’t miss any of the story. But then, in 2016, it seemed like everyone in Hollywood began to lose their minds. I’m not going to say the reason but I believe, inexplicably, it was definetly part of the reason.

The God of Mischief Must do Better and Bend the Knee
We have also seen some of our other favorite franchises and characters jump aboard the woke train such as ‘Star Trek: Discovery’, ‘Picard’, ‘Dr. Who’, ‘Falcon and the Winter Soldier’, ‘WandaVision, and now ‘Loki’. The fans are sick and tired of the hyped up anticipation for a potentially great show with a great character only to be let down by shoddy and amateurish storytelling and writing. In addition, not only is the writing on these shows preachy and abysmal, some of the celebrities feel the need to preach to us as well. That’s adding insult to injury and the fans don’t deserve that. Loki being labeled as gender fluid is not surprising in the least as Kevin Feige has out right stated what his plans gong forward for the MCU look like. ‘Loki’ will more than likely be the latest installment of a Disney plus MCU show that will let fans down as it preaches to us how the god of mischief can do better and how he must bend the knee to support Hollywood’s political indoctrination. Maybe, once we have a few films like ‘The Eternals’, ‘Black Widow’, and ‘Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’ come out and flop, maybe then Marvel will adjust…but I think not. But, then again, maybe the rest of Hollywood will see what happens when they see a big name company not bring in the money it once did and rethink the course they are on. I have to remain hopeful as a fan.
