Whoopi Goldberg and her crew over at The View, are perfect examples of what is wrong with America right now. They are hyperbolic to any issue that isn’t in line with their point of view or way of thinking, and ignore any reasoned opposing argument, with a flippant attitude or rush to commercial. Over the past week and a half, The View has entered clown world as a result of a leaked opinion that might over turn Roe v Wade. We have seen the various co-hosts on the view claim that Republicans are going to reverse Brown v The Board of Education, take away voting rights, take away gay rights, take away women’s rights, and turn this country towards fascism. They never back up their ridiculous claims with facts or evidence, and dismiss the right’s arguments as irrelevant because it goes against their political ideology.
We Are Going to be Tripping Over Women Giving Themselves Abortions
When the leaked draft opinion from the Supreme Court came out about a possible overturn of Roe v Wade, The View co-hosts became apoplectic. Whoopi Goldberg went on a tirade about a woman’s right to choose what she does with her body, saying that the reason Roe v Wade came about was because people like her, were tripping over women in public bathrooms giving themselves abortions. Uh huh. Really? So it was that bad that women resorted to public bathrooms to give themselves abortions? If it was that bad, why wouldn’t they just do it in their own bathrooms at home? Wouldn’t that at least be cleaner and safer? Whoopi is grandstanding again.
“women, when they decide something is not right for them, they’re gonna take it into their own hands. We got tired of tripping over women in bathrooms — public bathrooms — who were giving themselves abortions because there was nowhere safe, nowhere clean, nowhere to go. This law came about because people wanted people to have somewhere safe and somewhere clean. It has nothing to do with your religion; this is not a religious issue — this is a human issue.”
Actually, it is a religious issue…the Bible strictly prohibits it. In that same tirade, she also said that the decision to get an abortion is between a doctor, the woman, and the child. I don’t think the child is going to vote yes on killing themselves. Goldberg also went to scream about how it was her body and her choice to decide what to do with her body and no one else. Except when you’re demanding all Americans be force jabbed by a vaccine they don’t want, right? What a moron.
Kids Will be Segregated in Schools Again
Of course any tirade on The View wouldn’t be complete without some nonsensical wisdom from Joy Behar. She claimed that if Roe v Wade was overturned, that that was just the beginning. Brown v Board of Education would be overturned, gay marriage would be overturned, voting rights would be overturned, and we would be a country headed towards fascism. Okay. Where is the evidence Joy? Does anyone in their right minds think that schools are going to be segregated by race again? Does anyone think we are actually going to revert to pre-1920’s, where women didn’t have the right to vote? If Joy actually did her homework, she would know that voting rights have been expanded and protected. No ones taking them away. In the draft opinion from Samuel Alito, Alito specifically stated that this decision wouldn’t affect any other rights that have been ruled on. Exaggerate much Joy? And if Joy wants to talk about fascism, how come we’ve heard crickets from The View on Biden’s Disinformation Governance Board? Joy Behar can’t actually back anything up with facts, and “mis-informs” very time she opens up her mouth.
A Call to Arms Over Roe v Wade Isn’t Inflammatory at All
The hyperbole kept on coming, when a week later, Whoopi Goldberg defended Chicago’s Mayor Lori Lightfoot, for her inflammatory language with a call to arms around LGBTQ rights, claiming that if Roe v Wade was over turned, the Supreme Court was coming for them next.
“To my friends in the LGBTQ+ community – the Supreme Court is coming for us next. This moment has to be a call to arms,”
Goldberg insinuated and assumed Lightfoot’s call to arms was a reference to the 1960’s, and making sure everyone was paying attention to what’s going on and who’s voting for what. What? That’s a stretch. The majority of the protests are coming from young left wing activists who weren’t even old enough or alive to protest in the 1960’s, so how would that be inferred? Then, a couple of days ago, Whoopi exploded at guest host Alyssa Farah Griffin, former press secretary for Vice President Mike Pence, when she asked at what point in the pregnancy does an unborn child have rights separate of the mother. Whoopi responded with a diatribe about how it didn’t matter when she thought it was, or whoever thought it was, that it was you and your families decision, and then went on about religious beliefs before being pressed again. Cut to commercial break to save the day so Whoopi wouldn’t have to answer.

Influence Over Supreme Court Justices is Okay
Sunny Hostin thought it was okay that Justice Samuel Alito had to be moved to an undisclosed location because of the protests out of his doxxed home address, saying that maybe this would give Chief Justice John Roberts some leverage to sway the Conservative Justices to uphold Roe v Wade. That’s against the law Sunny. If the protests, and threats to churches and pro-life institutions, are going to change any Justices decision, that’s in direct violation of the Constitution, not to mention domestic terrorism. Though no one would be able to prove that, it’s immature and selfish for Hostin to think it’s okay for our judicial system to be influenced like that. If the roles were reversed, I’m sure she’d be all for the arrests of protesters and the protection of the Justices that were in favor of an approved Sunny Hostin point of view.
“While I think it is terrible that a justice would have to go into hiding, I think it is really clear to the justices now that, as Ana mentioned, 64% to 66% of Americans believe that the Supreme Court should uphold Roe v. Wade, right? And so that being said, maybe these protests, and maybe this outcry, gives Chief Justice Roberts some leverage for a more moderate approach because we saw during the hearing that he was looking for a way, a moderate way, to handle this case.”
It’s actually 54% of Americans who think Roe v Wade should be upheld, and it gets even tighter when you ask whether the issue should be pushed back on to the states, and how many weeks abortion should be made illegal.
Having a Baby is an Inconvenience
The truth is, that celebrities like Whoopi Goldberg and her co-hosts on The View, though they are passionate about a subject like abortion, never want to hear the view point of the other side, often drowning them out with grandiose theories of fascism, racism, and days of segregation. Do they even know what true fascism is? Do they honestly think America, as broken as it is right now under President Biden, is still not the greatest country to live in? They should try living in China or Venezuela for a week and see if that fits their political narrative a little better. Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, and Sunny Hostin come off as blowhards and disingenuous when they rattle off broad extremist generalities. Do they even point out any of the statistics behind abortion? How about that over 62 million babies have been aborted since Roe v Wade, or that less than 1% of abortions are a result of rape, or that abortions that are “medically necessary“, are so rare that they are un-statistical? So where does that leave the rest of abortions? They are choices made out of convenience or inconvenience. That sounds a bit selfish and irresponsible, but that’s just my opinion. If you don’t think abortion is serious to the left, just watch the propaganda video above, that shows the most indignant attitude towards ending a life I have ever seen. It spells out how being pregnant is an inconvenience and how easy it is to get an abortion, and how great this person felt after ending the life of her unborn child. This is the world the left wants to indoctrinate our kids with.
