The left is losing their collective minds over Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter. They are threatening to leave Twitter and move to Canada(good riddance), challenging Musk’s authority over what can be regulated, and are comparing Musk to an autocrat, who will allow hate speech that is deemed harmful to those who might be offended. Some in the mainstream media, are calling Musk a racist, and that Twitter will now only benefit straight white males. It’s absolutely ridiculous, and the only reason the mainstream media is lashing out, is because they know that their monopoly on censorship has been weakened. The Federal government is also worried, because one of their tools for censoring news has effectively been disarmed. The left has become this fascist entity that wants to control what you read, watch, and see, to manipulate the narrative to their benefit. But now, big tech has lost control of one of their four horseman of the apocalypse, and are frantic because free speech might win the day. Big tech, the mainstream media, and Hollywood are cancers in our culture, and need to be excised, and Elon Musk buying Twitter is just the first step to regaining the culture of America.
The Left is Predictably Unhinged
Rob Reiner famous for ‘The Princess Bride’, and playing “meathead’ on ‘All in the Family’, questioned whether Twitter was going to allow a criminal(Donald Trump) back on Twitter to spread lies and disinformation.
“Now that Elon Musk is buying Twitter, the question for all of us is: Will he allow a Criminal who used this platform to lie and spread disinformation to try to overthrow the US Government to return and continue his Criminal activity? And if he does, how do we combat it?”
Why does Rob Reiner care? This was a guy that fought against government overreach, and now he’s all for censorship of “harmful” content. Please. He’s not serious, and is only saying these things because he hates Trump. I mean after all this is a guy who called all Trump supporters racists. That sounds like hateful commentary to me…why doesn’t Rob Reiner self ban himself for such hateful rhetoric.

Sunny Hostin of ‘The View’, insinuated that Elon Musk was a racist who only cares about the free speech of white men.
“When Elon Musk says, ‘Wow, this is about free speech,’ it seems to me that this is about free speech of straight white men, so let them have it, let them just go at it.”
MSNBC’s radical left Joy Reid insinuated that Musk missed the Apartheid in South Africa, and claimed right wingers were haters of Jewish people who attacked women and were misogynists.
“The thing is the enjoyment they get out of being in this town square is being able to harass people, being able to attack people. There was a time when people had the double hashtags around their name because they were Jewish and right wingers were saying ‘get in the oven’ any time you made any benign comment on Twitter. They attacked women. The misogyny was crazy on Twitter for a while. Elon Musk, I guess he misses the old South Africa in the ‘80’s. He wants that back!”
The left has become predictably unhinged about something they should actually care about. Free speech is a gift whether the left likes it or not. As Elon Musk put it very simply and succinctly..“Free speech is the bedrock of a functioning democracy…” Hollywood, the Federal government, and corporate media, are trying to dictate their meaning of free speech, by manipulating what Americans are allowed to watch, see, and read. That ended with Musk taking over Twitter, and now they are scared.
Elon Musk Will Allow Twitter Users to be the Adults in the Room Again
There’s more of that everywhere, all over the mainstream media and Hollywood, including on Twitter. These people are so afraid of interacting with opposing thought and ideas, that their only way to confront it or accept it, is to lash out and label Conservatives and Republicans as haters of women and black people, who will use Twitter as a tool to harass, abuse, and spread disinformation. They forget the banning of Marjory Taylor Greene for posting about Covid, Donald Trump, the banning of The Babylon Bee for making light of Time magazine’s woman of the year, suspending the New York Post for tweeting about an article related to Hunter Biden’s laptop right before an election, and many others. All in the name of protecting Americans from hearing potentially damaging misinformation, that their precious ears might not be able to handle. Well now, Elon Musk is saying let everyone on Twitter decide for themselves what’s disinformation or not. You know, treat everyone like adults in the room, and let them come to their own conclusions. Crazy, right?
What About Jeff Bezos?
What’s even crazier, is that the left is so blatant and blinded by their sudden hatred for Elon Musk, that they forget that Jeff Bezos, the second richest man in the world, owns the Washington Post. That’s outright political bias if there ever was one, but because Jeff Bezos is on the left’s side politically…that’s okay. Wednesday, The Washington Post released an article saying that Washington’s hands were tied, because the richest person in the world acquired an influential social media company. Do they know who their owner is? Hypocrites.

“People Are Dying Because of Misinformation”
Elon Musk is not only facing backlash from leftist activists in corporate media and Hollywood, he’s also facing backlash from our own government, the European Union, and the United Kingdom. Jen Psaki, when asked about Elon Musk’s buyout of Twitter, and Donald Trump’s possible reinstatement, said that the President has long been concerned about social media platforms and their influence on the populace.
“What I can tell you, is that the general matter, no matter who owns or runs Twitter, the President has long been concerned about the power of large social media platforms, the power they have over our everyday lives, has long argued that tech platforms must be held accountable for the harms they cause.”
What harms are they causing? Is there evidence? The only evidence the left and the Democrats ever come up with, is in the guise of ‘misinformation’ that could hurt people’s feelings. Boohoo. So somebody’s feelings got hurt. Don’t listen, read, or watch then. Grow a spine and move on. Hate speech, offensive speech, and any kind of speech is protected by the 1st amendment and doesn’t care about your feelings. The European Union and the UK are passing legislation that would would aggressively hold big tech social media platforms accountable in censoring speech, including massive fines and jail time for executives. Over the weekend, both have warned Musk to follow the rules. Okay…good luck with doing that from across the pond, and with someone like Musk, who like to push back and is a free speech absolutist. Former President Obama got into the action as well, claiming that he was a 1st amendment absolutist. There’s a big difference between being a free speech absolutist and a 1st amendment absolutist, and it was a sly way of Obama appearing that he was all for free speech. The 1st amendment allows for private companies to make their own rules regarding speech, giving Obama the loophole to support the regulation of “harmful” speech, or “misinformation”. Obama, the master manipulator of words, said in a speech at Stanford University, that big tech companies are turbocharging the worst in humanity and weakening democracy, and claiming that people are dying because of disinformation.

Regulated Speech is Censorship Pure and Simple
Free speech is free speech. There is no delineation. You are either allowed to say what’s on your mind freely or you are not. One’s an understanding, that the 1st amendment was put in place so the population wouldn’t be censored for things the government didn’t like. It was a check against government overreach and an authoritarian form of government. The other, leftist point of view, is that some speech needs to be regulated for the safety and well being of all Americans. Well that’s antithetical to the very foundation of free speech. If you start censoring speech in any form, it only opens the doors for the censoring of other things, like books, music, thought, etc. The left is just upset that their safe space playground, of one sided view points has been threatened by actual freedom of speech. The left is an intolerant, hypocritical bunch of bigots, that wouldn’t know what the actual meaning of free speech was if it bit them in the ass. The great thing, is that Elon doesn’t care about all the noise from the left, and in fact welcomes it.
