J.K. Rowling, author of the Harry Potter series of books, has been snubbed for HBOMax’s upcoming 20th anniversary Return to Hogwarts. J.K. Rowling snubbed, is unfathomable, since it was Rowling who created one of the most profitable franchises in our lifetimes. But the reason probably surrounds a tweet she made last year, that enraged the transgender community, who of course think the world has to revolve around them and anything else is unacceptable. In addition to being ignored with the upcoming anniversary, not one of the main cast of the Harry Potter movies came to her defense, or said no to the invite unless Rowling was there. Ungrateful twits…everyone of them. And, to top that off, transgender activists doxxed her families home address, putting Rowling and her family in potential danger. This is what happens when you say something the radical left disagrees with.
People Don’t Menstruate, Women Do
The controversy started in June of last year, when Rowling posted a tweet in opposition to an article from Devex.com that postulated a more equal post-COVID-19 world for people who menstruate. I mean, come on, really? People who menstruate? As far as I know, woman were the only ones born on the planet with the physical ability to menstruate. Anyway, I digress. Rowling responded with a snarky and funny tweet, basically making fun of the preposterous notion.
“People who menstruate. I’m sure there used to be a word for those people. Someone help me out. Wumben? Wimpund? Woomud?”
I mean, that’s pretty spot on if you ask me. But of course, the transgender activists were having none of it, and responded with the typical hatred that is common place with these groups.
‘People who menstruate.’ I’m sure there used to be a word for those people. Someone help me out. Wumben? Wimpund? Woomud?

I actually appreciate how much you are honest about being a huge fucking TERF so that no one is confused about whether or not you’re awful

And this from actress Tessa Netting:
What JK Rowling is saying is harmful and dangerous and the trans and non-binary witches and wizards deserve to feel welcomed and loved in the Harry Potter community dammit!!!!

The tweets go on and on, but you get the point. These people need to seriously get a handle on their own lives. Why are they so obsessed with something that was said, that disagrees with their point of view? J.K. Rowling is entitled to her opinion(Which is based on actual scientific fact) and you don’t have to like it…simple. You do you, and stop trying to persuade the rest of us that your cause is the only cause…I don’t care and I am not obligated to care.
Daniel Radcliffe…Not Very Stunning and Brave
Daniel Radcliffe, who has benefitted substantially from J.K. Rowling’s creation, responded to Rowling’s tweet, through a blog post via The Trevor Project. He stated at the beginning of the post, that his response was not between him and Rowling, but rather, in defense of those that are transgender. In it he stated that transgender women are women, and that anything to the contrary erases their dignity and identity.
“Transgender women are women. Any statement to the contrary erases the identity and dignity of transgender people and goes against all advice given by professional health care associations who have far more expertise on this subject matter than either Jo or I. According to The Trevor Project, 78% of transgender and nonbinary youth reported being the subject of discrimination due to their gender identity. It’s clear that we need to do more to support transgender and nonbinary people, not invalidate their identities, and not cause further harm.”
Transgender women can believe that they are women, and professional healthcare associations might support that, but it is still not a scientific fact. J.K. Rowling is allowed to stand by the fact that there is a distinct biological difference between men and women, and support it, despite Daniel Radcliffe’s opinions. Daniel Radcliffe, should have had the decency and courage to stand up for his benefactor’s comments, whether he agreed with them or not(be stunning and brave Daniel). The fact that he thinks Rowling’s comments are somehow responsible for the hurt a transgendered person might feel, when they read her comments, is preposterous and insane. How is J.K. Rowling responsible for someone’s reactions. Everyone’s human emotional responses are their own not Rowlings’.
There Shouldn’t be a 20th Anniversary Event Without J.K. Rowling
As a result, Rowling has been snubbed from a 20th anniversary Harry Potter event, that would never have existed without her. And, to top that off, her families home address was doxxed, putting Rowling’s life and her families safety in jeopardy. All because a bunch of spoiled brats disagreed with her point of view. Their parents must be proud. And why haven’t any of the main cast stood up for Rowling…because they might receive the same kind of vitriol that J.K. Rowling did? Cowards. I don’t agree with a lot of things that J.K. Rowling says, but I will defend her right to say them. I love the Harry Potter franchise and Rowling is the reason we have that fun and escapism…Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Tom Felton, and the whole lot of them, should be forever grateful and not tolerate this travesty.
