I wonder if Californians are regretting their choice not to recall Governor Gavin Newsom now. Newsom just extended California’s state of emergency through March 31st 2022. That’s over two years that California will be under a state of emergency due to Covid and allows Newsom to continue to rule with draconian impunity. The reasoning behind the extension, according to Newsom, is the increased infection rate and deaths in California. He also alluded to the fact that we didn’t have much of a Flu season last year and that Californians should be aware of getting hit by both, and called it the Twindemic. The Twindemic is coming. Stay inside and lock your doors. It’s not like the flu hasn’t been around forever or Covid is going away any time soon…is it? Newsom , of course, didn’t get recalled, and is feeling very righteous right now as he exerts more and more power over California’s citizens. The state of emergency also allows Newsom to dip into your tax dollars and obtain federal money to help stave off the purported “emergency”. This state of emergency also coincides with Hollywood extending their Covid protocols through January 15th.
California Does Not Need to be in a State of Emergency
Newsom said that it was going to be a challenging winter as the season for increased rates of infection were upon Californians.
“Winter is coming. Winter is here, and as we are want to be reminded and should be reminded, last year we had a challenging winter, particularly down here in Southern California. We started to see around this time last year case rates, positivity rates, hospitalization rates, ICU numbers start to increase. We’re starting to see that now all across the globe. We’ve seen those trends, not dissimilar to last year.”
The declared state of emergency is curious considering the fact that California has some of the lowest transmission rates in the country, but not unexpected. After all, Gavin Newsom gets to raid some of the Federal coffers on your dime, so it’s a win win for him. The state of emergency is not required but does signal Newsom and the Democrats intentions going forward…support Joe Biden’s vaccine and mask mandates through more control and fear tactics.

Meanwhile, The AMPTP( ALLIANCE OF MOTION PICTURE AND TELEVISION PRODUCERS) and Hollywood unions – the DGA, SAG-AFTRA, IATSE, the Teamsters and the Basic Crafts just extended their vaccine mandates and Covid protocol requirements through January 15th. Drip, drip. It will be extended again, mark my words. The protocols were originally established in September of 2020, extended through April 30th, set to expire on October 31st, and extended again to January 15th…see what I mean? Hollywood and big government Democrats go hand in hand. The reality is that Covid has been leveling off in a lot of states and the Democrats can’t have that, or they lose the only semi winning hand they’ve had. California poses a further problem because they have some of the highest vaccination rates in the country. So what does Gavin Newsom do…call a state of emergency to give the impression that things are bad when they really are not. But, people are beginning to wake up to the shenanigans and see right through them. When high profile people such as Oscar de la Hoya, Colin Powell, Ed Sheeran, Jon Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams, Khloe Kardashian, and cast from the View, are getting Covid, even though they’ve been fully vaccinated, the argument for more restrictions and vaccine mandates gets weaker. The vaccine was supposed to protect us and immunize us, right? So why the emergency? If a majority of California residents are vaccinated, then Gavin Newsom should feel pretty confident that there won’t be a spike in Covid infections or deaths. Democrats like Gavin Newson, are all about high octane drama to stoke fear. Shouldn’t Gavin Newsom be listening to the recommended science?
