Pregnant People vs Pregnant Women

Pregnant People vs Pregnant Women
Larry the Cable Guy

Larry the cable guy, stand up comedian and famous for voicing Mater in Pixar’s ‘Cars’ franchise, called out Forbes for an article referring to pregnant people instead of pregnant women.  Forbes was reporting on how women who are pregnant are at a higher risk for complications from Covid-19 than those that are not.  But, in an obvious nod to the gender identity obsessed, Forbes needed to refer to pregnant women as pregnant people.  Larry the cable guy commented on the article saying that “Any organization that can’t say ‘pregnant woman’ is a [clown] show and can never be trusted to bring actual news”. Pregnant people vs pregnant women…who knew?  Not the majority of the country I would gather.

The CDC Needs to be Held Accountable and Their Funding Pulled

Larry the cable guy appropriately called Forbes’ reporting a clown show and questions their journalism as reliable and legitimate.  Also of note, is that the Forbes article, by Kimberlee Speakman, directly reflects the CDC’s stance on referring to pregnant women as pregnant people.  The CDC is a government funded, unelected institution that should be following their much touted science when referring to genders.  There are only two as far as I know and that’s male and female.  Using our tax dollars to placate to the LGBTQ community is irrational and the CDC’s funding should be pulled because they are obviously politically one sided.  Anyone can identify as anything or gender that they want to but you still can’t deny the science.  Only women can have babies and that is the science talking and there’s no way around it.  Forbes isn’t the only one using the term pregnant people.  It seems that the term pregnant people has become something of an epidemic here in the United States as you have website after website utilizing the term because it’s an inclusionary term that includes members of the LGBTQ community that might find the term pregnant women too offending.  USA Today, Scientific American, The Guardian, NPR(another government funded website and channel), and the list goes on and on, are just some of the many websites that have cow towed to this narrative.  It is patently ridiculous to use the term pregnant people and only serves to illicit propaganda meant to pander to 5% of the population.  How is that reflective of the majority of the population in the United States?  The CDC has become a clown show itself, flip flopping on everything from masks, to Covid and vaccines.  It shouldn’t be trusted and they need to be held accountable for their lack of consistency and transparency and their attack on American culture and ideals.  Larry the cable guy is right and preaches rare common sense in an ocean of Hollywood ignorance.
